Moving Theater

Moving Theater is a New York City-based performance group and non-profit production company founded in 2003 by artists Brennan Gerard and Ryan Kelly. Moving Theater forges dynamic partnerships to produce performance-based art projects in theaters, galleries, museums, and at unique sites. Filling a crucial niche in the cultural landscape of New York, Moving Theater supports deliberately discipline-defying, frontier-crossing projects through residencies and co-productions, creating sustainable environments for artistic growth and expanding public access to new voices in contemporary performance and art. Recent collaborations include LAST DANCE with the Park Avenue Armory, IMPERMANENT COLLECTION at the Whitney Museum of American Art and IT’S MY PARTY, a co-production with the Greenwich Music Festival.
