Brock Labrenz is a graduate of The Juilliard School Dance Division where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts.  In 2003, he joined William Forsythe’s Ballett Frankfurt as a soloist, and transitioned into filmmaking soon after.  The company produced his first short film, Full Quote Bergman, which premiered at Das TAT (2004), Frankfurt/Main.  In 2005, Brock collaborated with Forsythe to create Nowhere and Everywhere at the Same Time, in Creative Time’s The Plain of Heaven for Performa 05.  Brock is founder and artistic director of New York based An films where he has written and directed Heute Nacht (2007), recently completed the high-definition video/dance theater piece Naked Product (2007), and is currently producing and directing Make Series.  He currently lives in New York.
