Marion Ramirez is originally from Puerto Rico, where she performed from an early age and trained in pantomime, ballet, flamenco, theater and contemporary dance. She later graduated from the Laban Center in London, and toured in Europe with various groups. In New York Marion has been especially focused on improvisation, collaborating with Merian Soto, Yvonne Maier and Alicia Diaz, among others. She has taught creative movement to children and adults of all ages at Cornell University, BAX, Agora Teatro, Moving Theater and Seoul Marginal Theater Festival.  After a year of teaching and performance with Jung Woong Kim in Korea, she has recently returrned to New York.  Impermanent Collection is her first collaboration with Moving Theater.
