Elyse Sparkes grew up in Maine where she studied dance and dazzled audiences in community musical theater. She received her BFA in dance from SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory and also holds a professional certificate of study in dance from the Rotterdamse Dansacademie in The Netherlands. In addition to Moving Theater, Elyse has also performed with FLOCK dance troupe, Stephan Koplowitz, Mare Hieronimus, Erico
Villanueva, and is currently working with Amy Pivar. Elyse teaches fitness classes and personal training in dance at the Park Slope Fitness Collective in Brooklyn, and is excited to earn an ACE certification in personal training this fall.
