Charly Totterwitz completed theatrical training at La Comédie de Saint-Etienne in Saint-Etienne, France, where he worked with several directors such as François Rancillac, Serge Tranvouez and Antoine Caubet. After completing this training he expanded his work as a performer to include studies of instant composition and improvisation with  choreographers prominent in contemporary dance—Odile Duboc, Mark Tompkins, Loic Touzé, and Benoit Lachambre among them.  He performed with Thierry Thieu Niang in …de vent et d’eau at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris in 2006.  In January Charly will perform RBMK, une épopée de l’homme pressé by Ricardo Lopez Munoz in Saint-Etienne. Impermanent Collection is his first project with Moving Theater.  He currently lives in Paris.
